> AI-powered local travel guides for US vacation destinations. Insider tips, restaurant picks, and activities written like a friend who lives there.

LocalScout generates insider-style local guides on demand for vacation destinations across the United States. Every search creates a unique, persistent guide page verified with Google Places data (ratings, hours, real reviews). Free to browse; an optional Premium plan adds AI packing lists, itinerary tools, and group trip coordination. Operated by Duarte Destinations Inc.

## How guides are organized

Each destination has a hub page at `/{destination-slug}` (e.g. `/sedona-az`, `/nashville-tn`) with category sub-pages:

- `/{destination}/things-to-do` — activities and attractions
- `/{destination}/restaurants` — where locals eat
- `/{destination}/events` — current and upcoming events
- `/{destination}/trending` — what's popular right now
- `/{destination}/nightlife` — bars and after-dark
- `/{destination}/outdoors` — hikes, parks, and nature
- `/{destination}/family` — family-friendly options

Search-generated guides live at their own persistent URLs and are verified with real business data. Community travel posts are published by named authors at `/@{username}/{post-slug}`.
